Day02: Xian Terracotta worriers
In the morning we drive to Terracotta army. We visit the exquisite Terracotta Warriors and Horses, considered the greatest archaeological discovery of the last century. The figures vary in height from 182cm to 195cm, according to their role; the tallest are the generals. The figures include strong warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. Current estimates are that in the three pits containing the Terracotta Army there are more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which are still buried in the pit.l We return to the city and visit big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xian Great Mosque and Hui Min food Street .Overnight at hotel
Day03 Xi’an Around
The day early Morning fresh air ,up to the City Wall , excursions with the bike riding on the city wall , visit Biig goose Pagoda, Shanxi Province Museum,Bell Tower .overnight at Xian
Day4 Xian- Lanzhou –Xiahe Linxia 365Km
Morning fly to Lanzhou drive to Xiahe The town lies along one main street parallel to the Daxia River. The Chinese section (commercial) lies to the eastern end of the road and the Tibetan section lies at the western end. In between lies the monastery. Xiahe has developed along with the influx of visitors. Some old timers may bemoan that it has lost its off-the-beaten-path charm, but Xiahe is still far from being overrun with hawkers, karaoke or foot massage joints as have many other attractions in China. Visit labrang Monastery. Over night at Xiahe Min hang Hotel.
Day05 Xiahe free time , afternoon back to Lanzhou
Morning we drive to Bing Ling temple visit , afternoon back to Lanzhou .over night at Lanzhou
Day06- Lan Zhou ---Dunhuang
Depends on the flight schedule flight to Dunhuang. In the evening we will be visiting Mingsha sand dunes, known as the Singing Sands. Here we will have an opportunity to ride a camel across the desert to a lovely crescent-shaped lake set amidst the impressive sand dunes
Day07 Dunhuang Mugao Cave- Overnight Train (Bullet trian by options)
Morning we visit Mugao caves-chapels, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This complex of some 492 cave-chapels was built around 386 AD and is a veritable museum of magnificent sculpture and beautiful wall paintings in both Chinese and Central Asian styles Later transfer to Liyuan for overnight soft sleeper class train to Turfan
Day08 Turfan
Morning train arrives in Turfan, the oasis city in the province of Xinjiang. Turfan is inhabited mainly by Uighur people. Visit the ancient ruined city of Jiaohe, the vibrant Flaming Mountains, the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves and grape valley. In the evening watch the local Uighur dance.Overnight in hotel
Day09 Turfan- Urumqi
In the morning, more sightseeing of Turfan. Later drive to Urumqi, visit the museum famous for their Mummies. Tour the Grand Market,Overnight in Urumqi
Day10 Tianche Lake Excursion-Kashgar (China Southern Air CZ 6811 19:10 departure arrive 20:50)
Today we Travel to Tian Chi Lake or Heavenly Lake for breathtaking views the surrounding mountain range. Here you have a chance to walk around the Lake or take an optional boat ride.Later return to Urumqi to catch an evening flight to Kashgar.

Day11 Kashgar Sunday Market
This day is planned to coincide with the famous Sunday market in Kashgar where everything from carpets, blankets, foods, horses, donkeys, sheep’s and even camels are for sale! Wonderful assortments of people come from all over the region, and the population of the town swells by 100,000! This is truly one of the most incredible bazaars in Asia, and a photographer’s paradise!Overnight in Hotel.
Day12 Kashgar Karakul Lake
Day trip to Karakul Lake along the famous Karakorum Highway. The scenery along the way is magnificent. We will be stopping at the Lake where you can enjoy the breathtaking viewsof the Muztagh-ata Mountain. After lunch, free time to enjoy the area. Later return to Kashgar for overnight in hotel.
Day13 Kashgar city Tour (optional visits Shiptons Arch )
Morning visit Abak Hoja Masoleum, Old town , Idkah Mosque, after the lunch driver to Shiptons Arch , Hike to the Arch , apprax 3--4 hhours go and back..
Day14 Kashgar –Tash Rabat (Kyrgyzstan)
Morning transfer to the border crossing: the Torugart pass, stop at Tash Rabat Saray caravan and spend the night in a typical Kyrgyz Yurt.
